My initial impression when I drove up to the property was one of admiration and respect. The hotel was painted in a soft cream color and the facade was modern and inviting. There were trees surrounding the hotel and a large, pretty pond at its center. Immediately upon arrival, the friendly, courteous staff member at the front desk warmly welcomed me as if I were family—this set the tone for my entire stay.
My room was a breathtakingly elegant and modern suite with all the latest amenities—an automated blackout curtain and an espresso machine, to name just a few. The room was decorated in a soft color palette and was a pleasure to come home to each night. The bed and latte pillows were a delightful combination of comfortable and cozy. I could easily have stayed forever.
The service from the staff was top-notch and I had no issues whatsoever during my stay. All of my needs were addressed promptly and I always felt like I was the hotel’s number one priority.
The expansive outdoor area was simply delightful. I took long walks around the pond, which was home to a variety of wildlife including ducks and turtles. I also sat out in the gardens, where I got to savor the clean, fresh air. I could even order food directly to my room, and I enjoyed the lively dinner during my stay.
All in all, my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Mettawa Illinois was an uplifting, delightful adventure that I will never forget!
